Space Planning

If you need floor plans reconfigured or office layouts designed, Correctional Industries can create drawings and electronic files to suit your individual needs. Using computer aided design (CAD), CI can reconfigure an existing space, providing an accurate visual layout of intended surroundings. With both an overhead floor plan and 3-D view, you can see where new offices will be located, what each room will look like, and what new or additional furniture is required all before you make the initial investment. Space Planning Services

Space planning services for draft drawings, material quotes, and procurement documents will be assessed a design fee. Account Executives meet with the customer to create a workspace plan that fits the project needs and budget to include product/project specifications, finishes, and coordination with all stakeholders through installation. CAD layout drawings and electrical diagrams, as applicable, are provided along with detailed bills of material. CI maintains this information electronically for future inventory management and reconfigurations projects.

Initial Space Planning Fee @ 2% of product order value (minimum fee of $150). Includes two (2) revisions

Additional revisions @ $50 for

Product size/model changes
Product additions/removals
Finish changes – Fabric, Laminate, Paint, etc.
Panel systems/product orientation
Any change after receipt of your final quote

Reconfiguration Services

Reconfiguration services includes changing the existing furniture layout (from archived electronic space plan) to the new design plan. CAD layout drawings and electrical diagrams, as applicable, are provided along with detailed bills of materials for remaining existing inventory and new products and components needed for purchase. Existing layout, inventory verification, and labor services are provided by a CI staff lead and incarcerated crew members.
