Component repairable furniture with added value!
All of CI's residential furniture is designed for easy component repairability, utilizing 32mm construction and metal-to-metal connections that allow for easy replacement of a top, side or back panel. For a residential look with rugged construction, we build a composite product that includes: mar-resistant laminate tops; impact-resistant solid wood drawer fronts; and exterior doors, sides and backs constructed from 9-layer plywood that is resistant to cracking, shrinking and warping.

Barrier Free Furniture
We manufacture furniture in the spirit of ADA legislation for barrier free disabled access. We add higher toe kicks on our dressers and wardrobes, set the legs back on our desks and make the drawer pedestal
movable. We add drawer pulls
to our drawer fronts, and
reposition pulls and
mirrors to be accessible
from a sitting or
standing position.

Environmentally Conscious
The plywood we purchase meets all NAUF (No Added Urea
Formaldehyde) and ULEF (Ultra Low Emitting Formaldehyde)
standards. The particleboard is made with 100% recycled wood
with NAUF. We only use lacquer that meets all current Environmental Protection Agency regulations for VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) emissions for wood finishing and our stains meet the federal HAPS (Hazardous Air Pollutants) rule for wood finishes as packaged. The stains also meet all existing VOC regulations and are free of lead and chromate hazards.
