Service Delivery Division

formation of a new division. |

The Service Delivery Division was recently formed by combining staff from the Transportation and Installation Units into one team. These units had been structured and managed separately, but were codependent. Under the new structure, Correctional Industries hopes to improve our ability to meet customers needs and provide consistent quality customer service.
One benefit to this change will be a new team approach to delivery and installation of product. Plans are in the works to utilize teams consisting of a staff driver, installer and offender work crew. The teams will work together to accomplish all aspects of a project from delivery of product to completed installation of furniture. This team effort will start with the scheduling of jobs. In the past, deliveries and installation jobs were scheduled separately. Under the new structure, the delivery dispatcher and installation dispatcher not only sit in the same cubicle, but work together to manage their schedules.
Correctional Industries is committed to providing quality customer service. The first major step toward improving our processes came last spring when Administration, Sales, Accounting, Transportation, Install, Warranty, Fast Fulfillment and Environmental Services moved under one roof to our current location in Tumwater. Correctional Industries is a unique blend of business and government and while our mission and processes vary from those found in private business, our goal of excellent customer service is the same and we will continue to make improvements and adjustments to meet the needs of our customers. |
