It is important that you know about changes we've made and are making within the CI Food Group, specifically in the menu options available. We felt that as everyone becomes more informed about achieving better health through diet, it's important that our products reflect those sensibilities. And we figured, too, that although many budgets are being exposed to belt-tightening, we should take the opportunity to maximize our efficiency without sacrificing nutrition, quality or cost.
Using national nutritional guidelines, focus groups, and the seasoned expertise of our staff and dietitians, we have re-configured the nutrient values to better match the needs of our distinct customer populations. For example, you'll no longer see a giant square of lasagna dominating the plate with carbo-calories. Instead, a blend of naturally healthy veggies, zucchini and locally-raised peaches balance the vegetarian pasta, tantalize the palate and deliver the right nutrients for that meal. In addition, we believe our entrees and accompanying side dishes (vegetables, grains and fruit) are visually appealing and taste remarkably good.
 The CI Food Group is unique in its approach to culturally colorful foods that are rich in spices but not in calories or fat, such as our New Orleans Style Chicken or Chicken Curry. We have designed our menus meticulously, aiming to provide between 600 and 850 calories per meal. All but the most active men, women and children should be comfortable with that amount. As always, we'll work with you to develop menus to satisfy those you serve, whether they're active or sedentary, young or aging, vegan, kosher or somewhere in between. Healthier and more sensible. That's what we're striving for.
