Partnerships: Vocational Education |
| Correctional Industries has forged a strong relationship with the Department of Corrections' Vocational Education unit and their Community College programs. We have established a combination of direct entry vocational classes located within CI's operations, specialized certificate programs that support our operations |
| and related vocational classes that support CI and develop employability skills. Correctional Industries and Vocational Education are working together to develop new programs based on Standard Occupational Classification (SOC) codes that link correctional industry jobs with instructional programs such as graphic arts and printing, technical design, welding, institutional sanitation, Computer Numerical Control (CNC) for the workplace, information technology, and upholstery. |
