| Recognizing Achievement |
| The Certificate of Proficiency is a vehicle to recognize offenders who have demonstrated a high level of proficiency in their work, based on criteria established for Standard Occupational Classifications (SOC) and by Correctional Industries. In 2008 more than 500 of these certificates were issued. |
 |
Working with various organizations, offenders can also earn specialized industry accredited certificates in areas such as laundry management, asbestos removal, flagging, forklift operation and CPR/First Aid. |
